Woo hoo… checked out Slayer last night… what a metal experience, they had Hatebreed and Arch Enemy open the show. All very solid bands!
In other metal news, Sevendust played last Sunday, and Superjoint Ritual/Devil Driver played on Saturday. It’s been very busy with concerts… good thing they are all free! Because there’s one more tonight… King Diamond. Whew Thank god for ear plugs!
My B-day was pretty good…
Went to my Dad’s on Saturday night for dinner. Lisa and Dad made some great steaks, twice baked potatoes and some awesome salad. Very yummy! Then, the dessert… Apple Crisp… it was super crispy, which means SUPER yummy! I was nice and full for a great birthday dinner. Worked on dad’s computer a little bit, and played with Tess. Oh yeah, lots of Asian beetles to play with too. Icky. Loot received: $$ from Lisa and Maddie, a really nice Fleece jacket thing from Old Navy from my dad and a gift card. Thank you!!!

Sunday Morning…
Started off going to the Avenue Bar… a Madison landmark restaurant, met Mom, Marv, Sandi, Farell, Jenny and Steve there for breakfast and present opening… My mom got drunk from one Bloody Mary.. .she was way funny!
What a cheap date my mom is. Now, The breakfast deal wasn’t just for me, as Marv’s b-day is the 19th too! So, double birthday!!!… much fun. So, breakfast and the start of the Packer game. Then cake, and presents. Loot Received: Matrix Reloaded DVD, old crusty can of sauerkraut (inside joke), Duvet From sis and Farrell. Down Comforter, Bill O’Reilly book and cookies from Mom!
It was another good time! mmm Eggs Benedict!
After that… off to a Packer Party! Kari, who I play softball with, and is the sis of a co-worker and softball coach, Erin, had a packer party… so, hey, I’m there! That was fun, gave me something to do, and it’s always more fun to watch the game with other people!
After that, off to the Birthday Bar… Nitty Gritty for the free beer and mug. A few showed up, as I really didn’t make an effort to get a lot of people there… was still fun, some softball doods and friends showed up and we hung out with another birthday guy.
So, yeah… a decent birthday, not the spectacle like last year, but still fun, and relatively low key!
Thanks to everyone who was there, gave me cards, presents a “happy birthday”… etc. It’s greatly appreciated!
Saw School of Rock last night… great movie, no one else but Jack Black could do that movie… 
Other than that, pretty boring week…
a WORT pledge drive in effect, pretty week on the pledges, despite some great incentives (piles of cds and tickets and stuff)
No more softball! Fantasy hockey is in full gear, and I’m not as much about it this year…
and my b-day is tomorrow! yay me #32.
Car is broken!
I was leaving for the Queensryche show in Milwaukee and saw a puddle in the garage, smelled anti-freeze, then saw the car leaking it out pretty good.
So, my gracious sister let me borrow her car for the evening! She’s so bweeta! Got there and back without incident, but yah, next on the plate, dealing with my car.
The Packers lost today too, man, that game, just was an emotional roller coaster, with a great big crash at the end. Packers lost in OT 40-34. 
Just hangin out today!
Last night, I met up with my Dad and lisa, heard about their last two excursions last month… pretty fun stuff, the fall colors are peaking in the northern lands, and i’m sure it’d be pretty pretty! hehe
Thursday was the last co-ed softball game of the year. All year long, summer and fall league, no rainouts! Pretty weird i tell ya. Well, anyways, we won that!
I’m kind of drawing a blank right now… so, bye!

Yeah, I have beer, which means, I have sass right now.
I just got back from softball.. yet again We played 2 games tonight. First pitch of the first game, I hit a homer, and later in that game, with the assistance of some errors, I had an inside the park home run! In the second game, we played our hated rivals… “Dales Heating” we’ve lost to them 3 times this year, and they are just not a fun team to play. I don’t know how to really describe it, but they just aren’t fun. Well, we finally kicked their ass! 16-10
Over the weekend, Tim was over to celebrate his b-day. It’s the 14th, he’ll be 7. I thought it was a good visit, I’m learning more about him and it was a good time! Gramma I think had a really good time too. hehehe.
