Happy new year soon. Tonight is my radio show again, and we’ll be recapping 2002. Should be fun. The last couple shows have been pretty popular with the inmates, as there hasn’t been a lot of new music. Lots of good old metal thrash n stuff. They are fun shows to do as well, no lists to follow or create and such.
I’m still fairly addicted to Yahoo! Pool. My rating has gotten higher, and well, i still need some work on longer shots.
Today is my last day off, then I work tomorrow, then have another day off, and then back to work til memorial day! I guess I can say I didn’t really do anything productive the last few days. Lots of slacking!
Fantasy Hockey? Well, I’ve been losing money, but holding the #3 spot. #1 looks pretty far out of reach, but #2 will be mine shortly. 
so i read that last post, it sure was all over the place! oh well. I just haven’t been too motivated to post much lately. as, well, does anyone read it? and does anyone care?
Xmas was pretty good. Went to My dad’s g/f’s house on Xmas Eve, did the christmas thing, had soup to eat, nothing fancy, as no one really wanted anything fancy. Give exchange, etc. went well, was fun, went home, stayed up too late. slept in the next day, went to my mom’s. ate, did the present thing, etc. fun fun came home, was lonely… *sigh*
Today? well, I went back to my mom’s to get her “new” computer working, picked out some new glasses frames After a fiasco with the eye insurance… them not saying I have any, I had to stop by work and fix that. But it really didn’t matter for today. I had to spend my flex benefit money this year before I lost it.
Also, went to best buy, exchanged one of my gifts… and it was really just the same thing, exchanged the back to the future box set full screen for the wide screen.
So back to my mom’s place… had the computer just about all done, got the email accounts all set up, converted, address book goin, internet favorites, etc etc. putting it back together and POOF. some chip fried on the motherboard! So, yah, that sucked real bad. 
But she fed me, made some cookies and i watched some hockey from their comfy recliner and big screen tv.
wow, been a while since a post. I guess i’ve just been lazy. I look at the link to post, and just shrug. “eh” Nothing really exciting to report!
I did just about all of my xmas shopping on Wednesday, my only free night of the week, well, it wasn’t free, let me tell you!! hehee
I had my work xmas party on Thursday, that wasn’t too bad, nothing too outrageous, nothing too boring. Was a decent evening. And no, i didn’t have a date. :-/
Friday was the usual Friday night bartending, and I drank just enough on thursday to make me just start to get a cold on friday, lil scratchy dry throat and some stuffy uppy.
So saturday… my “waitressing” debut at the restaurant. Since I already know how to serve food n stuff at the bar, waiting tables can’t be too tough, right? Well, it wasn’t too bad, good thing we weren’t really busy. With any new thing, just takes a little practice!
Then sat night, was going to go out after they closed the restaurant… so I relaxed on the couch for a bit, lil nap time took over, then got called in, they were super busy!! So helped out, and then aftewards. not a lot of enthusiasm from anyone to go out. So we didn’t and here I am posting!
Going to wrap presents tomorrow and watch the Packer game.
Wow, my 50th blog entry. neato, You’ve now learned what a geek I am, that I like concerts, i suck at fantasy hockey this year, i built myself a new computer, etc etc. If you know me, not much new that you learned about me. Hehe
Just watched the osbournes, again, kinda funny, but yah, this is the last year, it’s done… good! The kids are just so whiney! So in the mean time, I started installing WinXp on the computer that my mom gets. It’s basically my old computer, still pretty fast i must say.
Other than that, fantasy hockey is still normal… my desk is a mess, I need to alphabatize my cds (probably over 4000!) and i’m pondering losing a pound or two! If anyone wants to do any of these things for me, you know how to reach me!
Worked at sis’s friday night as usual… saturday was errand day, helped a friend connect their new phat tv and stereo stuff, but on the way there, I was involved in a fender bender. I’d rather not get into the details of it, as, well, i don’t want anything in writing til everything with insurance and whatnot is figured out.
The Packers won! Yay them.
And I saw Sevendust tonight at the Barrymore in Madison. Nice to see them again, it’s been a while. At one point a few years ago I think I saw them 4 times in one year. A bit much! But they still rock, have good songs and put on a rockin’ show!

Very Busy day at work today. re-arranged a room, not just any room, but the master control room! Lots of racks of equipment, with the equipment still on and working at the time, and on the air! Tricky stuff, but damn, looks good. still a lot of work behind the scenes, but the tough part is done.
Went to the Badger hockey game tonight with a friend, was cool to hang out and just get away from the normal mattymo routine! The Badgers stomped on Team Italy, 7-Zip! Yay Bucky!
And, now it’s time for bed!
wow, i just had the longest post ever and I somehow manged to delete it. so i’ll recap… Went to that concert in chicago on saturday, and minus a little ticket snafu at the door, we got in and the show rocked! Great bands… Blind Guardian and Symphony X. The crowd was totally into it, and well, just goes to show they should tour the US! This one guy that I stood next to is from chicago and was whining about how he lost his job and was making fun of all the metal nerds. He’s pretty cool though, for a hesher! Actually, he’s a friend of mine from chi-town and it was great to be able to hook up with the dood. He’s good people. This was their first tour. The drive home was okay too. went with Todd and Mike. Got home by 2am! Gotta love those early shows.
So, sunday was a lazy day, finished up the computer upgrade. Did some laundry, watched the Packer game, made some chili… I basically traded some stuff out of the old computer to make it like faster n stuff. New motherboard, processor, heatsink/fan, ram and motherboard. A nice fresh clean install of windows on a new hard drive, and it’s all good. Windows Files and transfer settings wizard helped with IE favorites, and settings in a few applications. VERY Handy, saved a bunch of time, that’s for sure!

Work last night (tuesday, yeah, it’s wednesday and i’m posting) was good, kept busy, people eating at the bar, that’s always good for tips! Work during the day was busy too, makes it go by quickly! And tonight, i made it home in time to watch the osbournes… much better episode than last week, did some laundry and worked on sportspl.com and yup, even some pool on yahoo! And now, here I am, posting, the same post again, as for some reason I messed it up the first time!

Fantasy Hockey Update: Been doing better lately! I’m now in 3rd place, and it’s been working out a little better, making some money, points, and the like. Good stuff! 1st place seems a bit out of reach though… but the season’s only 1/2 over!

I started putting together a new comptuer upgrade. A friend of mine got me a motherboard for my b-day! how bout that, so I got a bunch of other parts, and whatnot, and started working on it! should be pretty speedy!
Work has been the same ol same ol lately, and it was a busy night at the restaurant last night! Other than that… not much new
Going to chicago tonight to see a couple prog-metal bands… Blind Guardian and Symphony X Should be fun! It’s an early show so the drive home shouldn’t be too terrible!
as I continue down the road of addiction, i may have to take a 12 step program. but if I know I have a problem isn’t that one of the steps?
well, the problem is that once I play yahoo pool, i can’t stop! I just have to win, or something, I dunno, i think i can get it under control. I multitasked while playing tonight, working on a new look for the annex site

had a HORRIBLE night for fantasy hockey. just awful. Every one of my players played tonight, and they all sucked, I will be extremly lucky if i break even on the night. PA THET IC!!
Got up to the sound of a shovel. It’s nice living in a condo! haha usual plain day at work, busy, and the normal monday routine. Go to sis’s restaurant, get dinner to go, come home, take out the garbage, clean the kitty litter, watch Boston Public, get ready for my radio show, go to my radio show, do the sho, come home, stay up too late, go to bed, get up late for work the next day….
