So, I decided to clean a bit down here in my lair. It was getting quite cluttered. Basically , I just moved the clutter around, so now there is more open space, also vacuumed… needed it bad!
In a little bit, it’s off to Milwaukee to see Dio with King’s X and Hammerfall. Should be a good show!
I also ordered some stuff to upgrade my computer, it already shipped and should be here on monday! Also, tried to get a deal on some stuff (wireless keyboard and mouse set for 4.95) at amazon.com, well the order confirmation says it’s just a mouse, so I’ll have to call and bitch when it gets here!
Had a good Hockey night last night, but still in 4th place… blah

Well, normal turkey day for me… went to my mom’s ate turkey, napped. Played cards, drank beer… not toooo much beer. Went home. Played Yahoo Pool.
Fantasy Hockey has been mediocre per usual. Not much more I can add than that!

So, after leaving a downer of a football game, the pathetic excuse for a packer game that it was…. I was off to the Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee with Mike to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. They’re that one band that does that one rock n roll xmas song… you’d know it if you heard it.
Anyways… it was a great show! I’ve seen them last year and the year before, but this was the best show of all, better light show, great singers, and they seemed to have a lil more fun (even though it’s all scripted) It would have been perfect, except two rows in front of us, there was this woman, we’ll call her “DC,” thought the band was there to see her, as she was the equivalent of a heckler at a comedy club. “Listen, bitch, sit down and shut the fuck up!!” Yes, she got the “D C” award. Even after Al Pitrelli (Guitar player) dissed her, she was stull a “DC”
Fantasy Hockey? well, my team still does suck, and it doesn’t look like that’s gonna change much in the near future, especially when the first place guy had a career night on saturday… Ugh. i’m just shooting for 3rd place now!
Had my review at work today, mostly the same old crapola. I know what I was doing wrong, so the bosses review and mine pretty much matched. Looks like I’ll be going back to Hourly! That’s a good thing, as this whole last year, I shouldn’t have been salaried. I dunno, business type thing that I’ll never understand. Worked at the restaurant tonight, again with my 2nd cousin. Her family came in, so there were a whole slew of Mommaerts! That’s always cool! Now I’m home…. ready for bed too. ugh

So, i’ve gotten into Yahoo! Pool lately. It’s sort of addicting. You actually play pool online with another person. Neato, right? well, i’m chatting with my friend tom too at the time. So, i read the profiles of people I play against, and one was from canada, and female and 15. And she beat me… so I say to tom: “some 15 year old canadian girl just beat me at pool” yah, i guess you had to be there.
Oh, and it seems like some children found my guestbook amusing. Some other lil MattyMo from NY or Canada or something, and his lil Friends deciding to gay bash or something. So mature! Waaahhh. Eat shit. You have been deleted.
booooo The Packers lost today… Can’t say it’s any real big suprise. They played in the Humphrey dome in Mlps. They suck there. Oh well. They’ll end up okay, it’s kind of a good lil reality check for them to play the BIG game next week against Tampa, IN Tampa.
Saw Harry Potter 2 on Saturday night. Pretty good movie. Bought the tickets online at movietickets.com, and got in. Got there an hour early to assure a decent seat, and all was good. Good movie, good book, etc etc. That’s about the fun-ness of the weekend. Oh yeah… Heather, a friend from up north brought some CDs down from a friend of hers (long story), but it was cool. Didn’t have much time to chat, as I worked at sis’s place for a bit on Saturday and that’s where she met me.
Fantasy Hockey Update (FHU): GREAT night tonight! Yay team. Back into 4th place! haha it’s out of 6, but at least i’m not last anymore.
Well, there’s a LOT I could go into today, but I won’t. It was just a LONG day. Took a class about Act! 2000 then worked on the lunch break, went back to work after the class was done, then over to sis’s restaurant at 6:30 for more work! ugh!
Going to see the new Harry Potter movie tomorrow. That should rule.

I’ve been Mr. Engineering Department lately. We’re doing a lot of moving of equipment around. Well, my job title is “Webmaster / IS Coordinator” So I spent time working on web-stuff and computer stuff, but also other menial things like getting the next days show tapes ready and master control operation. I got “promoted” out of the engineering dept a couple years ago, but well, the internet/web thing didn’t really go or take off as a money making thing, so I do updates, and whatnot, to keep schedules and contests up to date. But that’s about all I can do with out stealing content! But it’s been quite busy with just computer stuff.
Anyways. We are transitioning to digital television and are receiving a lot of equipment lately. It all needs to get installed and configured asap, and, at the same time, we are re-arranging the master control area. It’s pretty fun, and what I miss about the engineering dept. So it’s cool. But the whole time during training with an installer today… computer problems cropping up everywhere… lil things. I kind of almost felt important. But one thing’s for sure… being busy all the time makes the day go by quickly!!

Well, when I get a CD from a record label, it usually comes with a one sheet about the band, the “add date” and contact info for the record label person. Well the new Opeth CD came out in stores today. I got an advance a couple weeks ago, and the one sheet with it said “HOLY FUCKING SHIT” well, if you like metal or this band for that matter and listen to this cd, that’s exactly the thought that will come to your head. I’ve just had that phrase in my head lately.
Work was busy today. We’re re-arranging everything, to make it easier for operators to do their job, as well as facilitating the transision to Digital TV. Then I took a 1/2 day off to work at sis’s place as it’s “Magic 98” night. Great night… super busy all night, and I made some decent dough.
FHU: Who cares!? I made a trade this morning, and apparently I did something wrong, as it didn’t freaking work. The guy i was supposed to get had a good night, and went up in salary. The guy I got rid of lost money and didn’t even play, and hasn’t even been playing. What a freakin waste!!
Weak post time. Just got back from WORT. Damn that’s a long drive. Set the cruise control at 62 and steer. No way I’m getting anymore speeding tickets this year!
Work’s been busy, but it’s cool, doing fun stuff I guess!

Went to my very first NBA Game tonight. The Bucks won in Overtime! And sending a sad Allen Iverson back to Philly. What a great game for a first timer!
FHU: My team blew tonight, back to second to last place. ’nuff said
Wow, the football team sucks! I guess I’m glad I fell back asleep after getting up at 11. Didn’t make it up again til 1. I hate when that happens! heh. So I turned on the game, the 2nd half just started, and well, they got close but then blew it. Bummer for them! As long as the Packers keep winning it’s all good.
Tonight I’m going to see the Milwaukee Bucks play! I’ve never been to an NBA game, so it should be cool for that at least. A guy I work with has extra tickets so we’re going over to millay walkay for some basketball goodness.
Fantasy Hockey Update: Trades paid off so far, making more money! but i only have one trade left until wednesday! I’ll keep it in case someone gets hurt!
Well, my domain as well as some others I do sites for were down most of today, and well, we’re finally back up! Yay! Other than that… nothing else. hah!
FHU: used up most of my trades for the week today, damn I had some losers… cleared out four of them and maybe, just maybe my team will do me some good!!
I went to the Badger Men’s B-Ball game tonight. Their first game of the year, just an exhibition game, but it was still cool to see the team in the big house! hehe Today was busy at work, I helped work in engineering trying to get equipment racks moved around, and such. Busy days are good, they make the day go faster!
Fantasy Hockey: stupid changes…salaries going down for no reason… just sucks, and I was actually up to Third place for a day, but that changed last night, and i’ll probably go down more tonight too. BLAH
So last night, I just about finished up all my normal monday stuff (radio show prep) so I could just watch TV. Boston Public and Packers…. so here I am, watchin the game and doin some surfin’. Had a headache today, so work ended up being a lonngg day. But I managed to just keep busy all day.

Today, well, I didn’t do much. I didn’t leave the house… But I did make Chili, watched a DVD, and worked on a lot of web stuff… got the new menu stuff and a review of sis’s restaurant online, as well as most of the metal stuff that I normally do on Mondays done today. Did the metal stuff because, well, Boston Public is on tomorrow, and then the Packer game. Yup, i am a geek!
Fantasy Hockey Update: I used my last trades, and had a great salary jump today, but the players I have didn’t do REAL good tonight, I just hope to hold my 4th place status. Mr. 1st Place kicked some ass on Saturday and moved further ahead… but, lots of time left!
